During the 1950s and 1960s, civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. recognized the power of service to strengthen communities and achieve common goals. Join us on January 18th-Janurary 21st 2013 along with thousands of others in your community and the nation at large as we commemorate Martin Luther King Jr's commitment and passion for servitude. Together, united, WE can make a difference. Please contact us directly to learn the ways you can have a lasting impact on your community.

What We Do

Initiated by Congress in 1994, King Day of Service builds on that legacy by transforming the federal holiday honoring Dr. King into a national day of community service grounded in his teachings of nonviolence and social justice. The aim is to make the holiday a day ON, where people of all ages and backgrounds come together to improve lives, bridge social barriers, and move our nation closer to the ?Beloved Community? that Dr. King envisioned. We have multiple projects available on MLK Day (January 21st 2013) that you and your friends can participate and have a lasting impact on our community.
